In this lesson pupils start with a little thought task, follow with some information, complete a layout of Hardwick Hall, and then a focus task where pupils consider what is and isnt typical of an Elizabethan Manor house, before considering how typical Hardwick Hall is. Then completes with a short paragraph writing task with sentence starters.
This will take about two lessons.
You will need to create the handout using the pages mentioned in the poweropint - you should have access to both textbooks produced for this course and the exam board produced resource pack.

I found the first few slides of this PowerPoint lesson somewhat useful. Instructions were not clear right the way through. In addition, the lesson became a little boring in the middle.
