This is a 100 page set of A4 Historical Dates designed to be stuck up around your classroom as a bright timeline or can be resized to be used as an activity with students (when learning about BC vs AD and chronology). The timeline runs from the Dinosaurs to the Stone Age, Renaissance, Enlightenment through to JFK and Winston Churchill!

I love having visual references like this in my classroom and I regularly use this timeline when teaching my Year 7s about the basic concept of chronology. It’s a great way for students to visualise the measurement of time.

I have included a pdf ready to print with a MS Word document that can be adapted to your liking (including one blank template page).

I have made an effort to include Australian, US and UK specific dates. (eg: different dates for the vote for women, Australian federation, London Olympics, the different dates for railways in each country, American Independence etc).

These can be easily differentiated for different age groups (ie: remove the dates and make it a trivia game or remove the darker/mature events for younger students). They are a great learning tool, a fun game to build rapport and a fantastic visual learning tool.

I hope you enjoy!
