Given to KS4 at the start of Y10 to test skills and knowledge. Tasks such as describing an object to build their questioning skills. Detailed research skills to build on their inquisitiveness and knowledge building. Using 'Where's Wally' and 'Nemo' simplified what could have been complex and helped with differentiation.
Tasks are set up to push the students to apply the principles and marking of it is useful to plan future lessons and give the students personalised targets. I have used it in 2 double lessons.
