A colourful and differentiated workbook for a term of home learning. I’m using it with Year 9 students to prepare them for their GCSE course where they will study Macbeth. There is a section on exam specifications and this relates to AQA.
I’ve borrowed some resources from Teachit and BBC bitesize, and included links to both the animated version of Macbeth and the 2010 film starring Patrick Stewart for more advanced learners. The course starts with a broad introduction to Shakespeare and does not assume any prior learning. There are quizzes, a wordsearch, and some close textual analysis activities.
This is my first upload and I would appreciate any feedback. Please feel free to use and adapt this resource. (note: this is a preparation for studying Macbeth and only goes into close detail on Act 1.)
