Mental Health and Resilience Card Set
Building empathy, reflection, and collective strength in the classroom.

Part of the Web of Lives series, this set of fictional, personalised cards helps pupils explore mental health challenges and the strengths that support resilience. Each card introduces a character facing issues such as anxiety, stress, or low confidence, alongside positive traits like creativity, humour, and determination.

Students are tasked with considering both the challenges and the strengths, recognising that struggles are human and relative, while resilience is built through empathy and support. Group discussions, presentations, and reflective writing encourage pupils to connect experiences, share strategies, and build a collective “web” of resilience across the classroom.

Teacher Guidance
Comprehensive notes are included to scaffold safe, respectful conversations. Guidance covers setting ground rules, managing sensitive topics, and using affirmations and closure activities to ensure sessions end positively.
