My Story Map. A getting to know you lesson.

My Story Map is the perfect way to help your children settle into their new class whilst achieving solid curriculum objectives in Geography, Literacy, P.S.H.E. and Art. In just one lesson your pupils will:

• Create personal story maps with symbols and keys
• Develop essential geography vocabulary
• Share their unique journeys confidently
• Build classroom community and understanding

Suitable for Years 1-6 with full differentiation strategies and safeguarding considerations included. Because every child’s story matters!

Children will:

• Write descriptive sentences about significant places/events
• Share personal stories confidently with others
• Understand that everyone has a unique journey and story
• Practice geographical vocabulary (location, journey, route, symbols)
