These are three listening lessons which i have used at the very start of the Concerto Through Time area of study.
The first listening lesson is an overview of the topic and covers the different periods of time and how the orchestra has developed. It has a worksheet and on the PP there are links to youtube clips of films and music.
The second lesson covers the Baroque Concerto Grosso. There is also a card sort activity which would need to be printed onto card and there is a listening activity complete with answers.
The third lesson covers the Baroque Solo Concerto which also contains a listening activity with a score fill in the blanks (easy), worksheet complete with answers.
All powerpoints talk through the lesson. However if more guidance is required then send me a message.
