These are flashcards I have made for preparing my class for the phonics screening check (PSC).
It covers all phonemes taught in phonics from Reception to Year One.
Each Flashcard covers all of the phonemes a grapheme can have, in as simple a word choice as possible, with a helpful picture to guide your students if they need some support.
Practise with your class showing them the card, then getting them to tell you possible phonemes for that grapheme. You can also print them out for children to practise at home for homework.
This set covers all of the phonemes that are just one letter long. I have created resources for all digraphs, trigraphs, quadgraphs and split digraphs also available on my page.
My school teaches little wandle letters and sounds, but you may find a use for this even if your school teaches read write inc or Monster phonics for example.
