Four complete phonics screening check practice papers for Year 1, built to the structure of the statutory check: 40 words each, in two sections — Section 1 with twelve invented and eight real words in simpler structures, Section 2 with eight invented and twelve real words using longer structures, vowel digraphs and split digraphs.

Every paper comes with its own mark sheet, laid out so you record what the child actually said alongside the tick. A child who reads snent as “sent” has told you something specific about consonant clusters that a bare score out of 40 never will.
