Sheets 1 - 3 focus on prepositions a few at a time, introduced in order of challenge/difficulty. Sheet 4 includes all prepositions together on the same sheet.
Who’s it for?
This resource has been designed for children in the early years, years 1 and 2 as well as older learners needing to revisit/explore these prepositions further.
Preparation
Print and laminate the sheets needed. Sheets 1 - 3 may be more suitable for learners to have on/at their desk/work station and depending on which sheet/s fit their level of understanding. All sheets/sheet 4 may also be displayed on the wall in a ‘maths’/construction area.

Suggestion
Giving learners access to a real box and tennis ball (to scale of images shown) where these sheets are displayed is recommended to enable learners to explore these prepositions in a meaningful 3D way.
