Raising awareness of STEM Careers for post-16

Sixth-form students are often unaware of the wide range of science careers available to them, falling back on old favourites such as medicine and veterinary studies. This resource is designed to raise awareness of a greater range of STEM careers for post-16 students. This resource consists of 25 PowerPoint slides with careers information, ranging from toxicology to environmental conservation, which can be displayed at the beginning or end of a science lesson to provide a spark for discussion. Resource designed by Chris Graham, based on Jobfile, and funded by a SAPS Associate Award.
