
Reciprocal Reading Activities – Choice Tasks for Guided Reading (KS2)
This resource contains a set of reciprocal reading response activities designed Year 4–5 pupils (ages 8–9).
After reading a chapter or section of their class novel or group text, pupils can choose from a menu of tasks that help them explore the text more deeply while working independently.
The activities are suitable for almost any fiction book, making them ideal for guided reading sessions, literacy rotations, or independent follow-up work.
