Resources to describe people Dynamo 1 Module 1

A variety of resources to expand on the personality pages of Dynamo 1, that will work equally well if you don’t have the book.

Firstly a grid translation challenge. Either use the version that’s completed, or the pair work version so that the students recognise all the key terms. Then set them to translate the 16 sentences. The French sentence should start with the letters next to the English. (And if you think your class will need it, instruct them to copy the letters before they write the sentence and tick them off as they check that their sentence has the correct words in)

There are a pair of wordsearches for fast finishers - with and without the words you are looking for.

Get them to make their own “quiz quiz trade” sentences and use them over two lessons as QQT and follow me. (Instructions included)

The powerpoint has a trapdoor task that could be a writing or speaking game or both.

Finally there is a sheet for 1pen 1die activity using sentences that my students have created in the QQT task.
