These are the main notation characters. Crotchet (red) has one beat on his top and walks. Minim (blue) has two beats and sli-ides. Quaver twins (yellow) have half a beat each and go jogging. Semibreve (green) has 4 beats and goes whoo-oo-oo-oosh. The semiquaver brothers (multicoloured) have a quarter of a beat each and go running quickly.
