• This teaching resource explains the work of Dr Chrsitina H. Paguyo and Dr Valentina Iturbe-LaGrave from the University of Denver in the USA. Experts in academic assessment and inclusion respectively, they have worked together to help teachers embrace inclusive teaching techniques.

• This resource also contains interviews with Dr Paguyo and Dr Iturbe-LaGrave.

• The activity sheet provides ‘talking points’ (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy) to prompt students to reflect on Dr Paguyo and Dr Iturbe-LaGrave’s research and challenges them to investigate perceptions of diversity, equity and inclusion in their own school.
