Which offer is the best? Ordering activity using offers for a chocolate bar.
They found this task very engaging and there is a lot of 'real life' maths here e.g. comparing 1/3 off to 3 for 2 etc.
Note: My Year 7s needed '50% extra free' explained to them.

A nice little activity to get a KS3 group thinking about percentages, fractions and proportions etc. This would be best used as a group task which can then lead into a class discussion.
