When children are feeling worried or overwhelmed in class, they may need a quick reminder of a breathing technique to calm their body down. These flashcards are pocket-sized and child-friendly, so they are easily accessible.

Print them as flashcards or make into key rings, by hole punching the top left hand corner and securing with a keyring or piece of string.
Allow children to select the strategies that work for them, and encourage them to practice the techniques when not feeling overwhelmed so the technique works quickly when needed.
