This is a mini-project I did with a lower ability group, but it'd be fine for higher abilities as well. They&'d already done a bit about film and were able to describe a film briefly in terms of its genre, what they thought of it and what it included. After we watched the film Taxi, we worked through the tasks on the powerpoint over 3 lessons - it&';d take less time with a more able group. The pupils were extremely engaged and worked very well in groups on the different tasks. * Taxi is a 15 certificate so be aware of this when choosing which group you do this activity with.

Would have been useful if the DVD was available! But thanks for sharing anyway.

Taxi 2 has one or 2 risqué elements to it...the translations into English would raise some eyebrows with parents. Jane

I had to get permission from parents to show Taxi, since it's a 15.

Taxi 2 is rated 12 though so that would be fine.

Good worksheets, thanks. However Taxi is rated 15, not sure it's wise to show it to yr 9 pupils.
