This is the opening unit in a series of four dealing with The Australian Savanna lands. It can also be used in Year 10 studies but it has been developed with Senior Geography levels in mind. This unit deals with concepts such as ECOSYSTEM, SUSTAINABILITY, ECOLOGICAL HAZARDS, LAND COVERS CHANGES. It leads on to themes such as Mining, Land Rights, Climate change in Unit 2 (Ecosystem Modified) Unit 3 (Ecosystem endangered) and Unit 4 (Mining and Land Rights). Guideline answers are given on pages 9 and 10.
