Using the '2016 teacher assessment exemplification: KS2 English writing, working at the expected standard', published 8/2/16, this checklist is a helpful prompt for children. It can be laminated and given to children, or stuck into books to aid marking and feedback, with opportunities for self and teacher assessment. Each criterion also has its own full page slide for use on the whiteboard or for display on a working wall.
