The whole lesson is planned, including starter activity, main activity and plenary. Differentiated activities are included and extensions for higher ability children.
The worksheets are editable to be adapted to your class's needs.
The lesson requires minimal marking, but includes sheets for adults to assess whether children are secure with telling the time on analogue clocks.
The activities include a treasure hunt to tell the time to the hour and half hour, with an extension for them to draw the hands on a clock face to show these times (can be easily adapted for other times to extend higher ability or accommodate lower ability) and a game which can be printed A3 and enables children to practise telling the time.
Also useful for Year 2 revision, and can be easily adapted to include quarter past, five past, and any other times.
