Year 6 Inference Builder Bundle

This Year 6 Inference Builder Bundle includes two resources designed to strengthen pupils’ inference skills.
• The Year 6 Zone of Relevance Developing Inference Skills Activity supports pupils in answering 3-mark inference questions commonly found in the KS2 Reading SATs. Using six high-quality classic texts, pupils discuss which adjectives best describe a character or setting before completing SATs-style 3-mark questions.
• The Year 6 Inference and Impressions pack is a SATs revision resource that helps pupils build inference skills through three engaging extracts from classic stories. Each extract includes a short comprehension focused on inference and impressions, with evidence-based questions similar to the 2–3 mark questions in the Reading SATs.
