Designed for the Edexcel GCSE unit 'Warfare Through Time, c1250-present'. This is a set of presentations on Warfare and British Society in the modern era (1900 - Present). These presentations are clean and clear for students to easily engage with. They have been designed to scaffold the teaching of this part of the course closely alongside the use of the Edexcel Warfare Through Time textbook, which is where the depth of information is contained. Purple pen tasks / questions are also included.

This lesson starts by re-capping on the reasons why America became involved in the Vietnam war. It then contains in depth information and interactive slides on all the American and Viet Cong Guerilla Tactics. There are also a number of brilliant and appropriate videos hyperlinked throughout. This lesson also contains two 8 mark exam questions and model answers for students to engage with, designed to mirror the demands of the AQA History B GCSE, though the content would be relevant for any exam in this area.
