This is a resource I use with my SEN students who are completing IT courses. Students are tasked with creating and conducting a survey (to work on their communication skills and confidence). Students have to find out what types of computer products people prefer (Laptop, Mobile, Smart Watch etc.) It can also be used to develop students’ Excel document skills by collating the results into a bar chart or graph. Perfect for Entry Level 3 and above.

I use this Year Plan to plan my teaching year out (just a basic overview) before completing my Scheme of Learning. I like how you can see the whole year on one page :) I usually create a year plan for each subject. The Year Plan can be put at the front of each students’ folder and the student can see where they’re up to too, ideal for SEN students who like to know what’s coming next! This Year Plan is for the academic year 2023-2024 and based on the Bristol City Council academic term dates.

This is a resource I use for students who require IT, ICT or EDSQ (Essential Digital Skills Qualification) sessions. At the beginning of the year, the students state what their IT/ICT EHCP goal is and how they will achieve it in sessions. This goal is then reviewed again half way through the year and again at the end of the year to measure progress and achievement. (See accompanying EHCP goal review sheet.)
