This investible, high quality set of 60 cell organelle cards have been created to help students learn the key Eukaryote animal cell organelles. They help reinforce learning and make learning interactive and enjoyable. This is a cell organelle card sort matching activity. The activity consists of 12 key cell organelles: Nucleus, Nucleolus, Mitochondria, Cell Membrane, Cytoplasm, Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum (RER), Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum (SER), Golgi Apparatus, Ribosomes, Lysosomes, Cytoskeleton, Centrioles. The aim of the activity is to match the organelles with their pictures, descriptions and functions. Each card category has different coloured boarders to help with identification. It works with a range of curriculum and can be differentiated by adding / removing organelles or categories. Also included are some blank cards to add more should it be required. Easy: Students match organelles with images Medium: Students match organelles with images and descriptions / Students match the most popular organelles with images, descriptions and functions Hard: All cards are used In addition there is also a student worksheet to be used alongside the cards as a full lesson activity or extension.
