I’ve been a teacher for over 25 years. I am passionate about creating fun and engaging resources and am very excited to be turning my passion into an online business! As well as having an online TES shop I am working on launching my own website, which will not only contain fantastic resources, but will also have fun and exciting games where children can practice their maths and phonics skills. A set of 5 real and alien word sorting games to help children prepare for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check. Visually appealing and engaging for young children - Can they blend the phonemes to work out whether it is a real word or an ‘alien’ word? All words have been taken from previous Phonics Screening Checks. It is recommended that the sorting mats are printed onto A3, and the words printed onto A4. The words will need to be cut out so that the children can sort them onto the relevant mat. This is a bundle of 5 games which can also be bought separately for £1 each.
