I have also included a tick chart to monitor students that may require movement breaks to support their behaviour. This chart can be used to evidence the need for 1:1 support in the classroom. To use the social story pick a page and write the child’s name under each person character. You can also provide this to the support staff at lunchtime/ break time to support the child with making the right choices on the playground. This resource can be used in multiple ways. The place value activity allows children to work practically with dienes to draw and recognise place value. It will also allow children to recognise the given place value in a number- for example just highlighting the hundreds, tens or ones. The numbers as words resource also covers odd and even numbers and allows children to match the numbers to each word. The word mats/ charts and card can be laminated and placed into a tuff spot tray or organised as a class group as part of a hide and seek activity.
