About Braeburn Garden Estate School

Braeburn has been operating since 1979, and the Garden Estate campus opened in 1982. While much has changed, our values, beliefs and ambitions remain the same: “Every student, a confident individual, a responsible citizen, a learner enjoying success.” We are passionate about the value and importance of relationships, understanding and empathy - people are the heartbeat of all that we do at Braeburn Garden Estate (BGE).

At BGE, we believe that education is about more than academic success - it’s about shaping confident individuals, responsible citizens and lifelong learners who enjoy success, by following the National Curriculum of England & Wales and the post 16 IB curricula;  incorporating the British Values into an International context.

Our vibrant, inclusive community is built on mutual respect, creativity and a shared commitment to excellence. We encourage our teachers to bring their ideas, passion and individuality to the classroom, supported by a culture that values collaboration, innovation and professional growth.

Beyond exam results, sporting success and endeavours in performing arts, we are committed to making each and every child a better person, ready to make a positive difference to our ever-changing and complicated world. We look forward to you joining us in the journey. We are seeking an educator who thrives on challenge and believes that every moment in school can make a difference.
