This from The History Channel’s “Saving the Union”. Mixing interviews (EG Medford, MF Berry, C Coleman, AC Guelzo, B Obama, H Holzer) and dramatic reconstructions, the film covers The 13th Amendment and its impact upon Lincoln; The Amendment vs the Emancipation Proclamation; US “liberty” vs slavery; the effect of the war upon Lincoln’s view of slavery; personal tragedies; A Meditation On The Divine Will; Lincoln and religion; the second inaugural address; the Civil War as saving the Union vs ending enslavement.

Differentiated! Both versions look very similar, but “B” version has subtle clues. Questions right up to the end, no slack time! 14 questions for the 9-minute film. .doc and .pdf of all sheets, link to video on all sheets. Very easy to mark.

**Please check that you can access the video before you download these sheets. All the links work when I upload. If my links no longer work, the videos may still be found elsewhere on YouTube. **
