These lessons are part of a bundle
I created this Scheme of Learning to support ECTs and newly qualified teachers in my department :)
This Staves 4 and 5 lesson bundle for A Christmas Carol includes 4 fully planned GCSE English Literature lessons designed for Key Stage 4 students. The lessons focus on the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, the consequences of selfishness, and Scrooge’s final moral transformation and redemption, while consolidating key themes and exam-ready analytical skills.
Students explore how Dickens presents fear, time, and the future as powerful forces for change, with close analysis of Scrooge’s neglected grave, Tiny Tim’s death, and the contrast between Scrooge’s past and redeemed self.
