A ppt to put together a paragraph on "normally on holiday" - I print this 6 slides to a page for the students. I then take students through what it all means and they annotate their own sheets. They can also suggest further phrases or amendments at this point. Then they take their notes and turn it into a paragraph, being sure to add further information of their own, not just use what is handed to them.
