A Taste of Honey: Shelagh Delaney, Joan Littlewood

Shelagh Delaney wrote A Taste of Honey when she was nineteen, sending the script to Joan Littlewood at the Theatre Royal Stratford East. It became one of the great defining and taboo-breaking plays of the 1950s.
