This video and worksheet resources has been designed specifically for remote learning!

In Part Two, we take a look at how sound and music developed in films throughout the 20th Century, taking in clips from The Jazz Singer, Walt Disney’s invention of ‘Mickey-Mousing’ and the development of underscoring. It’s concise and accessible and perfect for your year 7 or 8 students studying at home - w=ith simple questions to recall the learning in the accompanying worksheet.

I used this with Year 8 during the 2020 lockdown, and it worked brilliantly!

I hope you enjoy it.
