Included in my Russian Around the World Week, we focussed a Maths lesson on finding Anastasia. After watching the opening 6 minutes or so of Anastaia, the lost Russian Princess. I gave my year 5 class each a profile and they had to go round and ask each other to find out the physical features of each person to see if they could find Anastasia. The data was then put into pie charts, bar charts using ICT etc. Can be as creative as you like with this. The data collection/tally sheets are at the end of the publisher file. The kids really enjoyed it!
