This lesson covers the following specification points from the AQA A level Physics specification:

3.2.1.2 Stable and unstable nuclei
The strong nuclear force; its role in keeping the nucleus stable.
Unstable nuclei; alpha and beta decay and their equations.
The existence of the neutrino was hypothesised to account for conservation of energy in beta decay.

The lesson also includes AQA multiple choice and long answer exam questions as part of the lesson to embed exam technique.
