AQA Power and Conflict Poetry Revision - Methods and Effects AO2

This seven page booklet is essentially a glossary with 25 poetic techniques, each with an example from of the Power and Conflict poems from the AQA anthology. Every example is accompanied by a paragraph explaining the specific effects of the method, e.g. the use of repetition in ‘London’ or the sonnet form in ‘Ozymandias’.
The booklet has been designed as a revision resource, and also as a resource to build crucial AO2 skills. It should enable students to make specific and perceptive comments about a range of poetic techniques.
It is laid out in a table with three columns (Method, Example and Effect) and is ready to print.
