This unit was prepared for Senior Geography Unit 2 Sustainable Places and Unit 3 Land cover transformation. It has a focus on the development of Lake Argyle which has allowed for the expansion of the Ord River irrigation area. The creation of Lake Argyle has modified the ecosystem of the area. Answer guidelines are given on the final page. Debate points are not included because the objective of the debate is to allow students to formulate their own ideas and arguments.
