This session supports level 3 teachers to facilitate knowledge around biological organisms that cause diseases in health and social care. This session covers parasites, viruses, bacteria and fungi. Exploring environments needed by biological organisms to survive, in addition to direct and indirect contact to promote class discussions. This session also looks at portals of entry and exit and cross-contamination. A good session for starting the infection prevention and control topic. A closing Kahoot has also been added as a formative assessment.
