I have created a lesson for black history month focusing on being black in Germany following WWI. The intention is to integrate the themed history month into the curriculum rather than have a tokenistic ‘black history month’ lesson that has no relevance to the current scheme of learning.
This has been designed for Year 9 to appear during their topic on the Rise of Hitler, but could be adapted to suit your context.
