A lovely collection of lessons in which students study and analyse a range of literature aimed at young children. The Gruffalo plays heavily in this and is needed to analyse key pages.

Throughout lessons, students read and identify techniques found within children's stories. They spend time producing their own story before analysing its effectiveness by writing a commentary.

The lessons end by looking at how children are presented in literature, looking at extract from Oliver Twist and researching workhouses.
