After drawing animals from secondary sources, year 7 study the character style of animator Nick Park. They then use basic clay modelling skills (pinch pots, coils etc) to model their own creature comfort animal. The key to making the animals look like Nick Park's work is to capture the wide mouth on the animal. A quick project - but they love it!
