This is a worksheet for students to fill in the different representations of mixed numbers and improper fractions. I find many students really struggle to understand what an improper fraction really means and particularly to show it on a number line. The powerpoint just has a breakdown of the example intended to go through as a class first to explain and discuss. Hopefully you may find it useful, please leave any comments or suggestions below. I have attached a word document so that you can edit the problems, however it was originally created in Pages so the compatibility may not be amazing.
