Pupils create simple Christmas motifs in Paint and copy and paste to Word adding suitably formatted text to create a sheet of wrapping paper with a repeat pattern. Activity allows pupils to practice design and mouse skills.
I use this with a range of SEN pupils and it is a good opportunity to underpin copyright laws too by asking pupils who their designs belong to and what they are allowed to do with them.
