This resource is aligned with components from the PSHE Association Programme of Study.

Topic: Financial literacy is the understanding of saving, finance, credit and debt management. It is important that young people have a good understanding of financial literacy, as it can prevent them from making poor financial decisions, and can encourage them to help them manage their money better. Student loans, flex culture and lack of awareness on this subject, unfortunately makes room for many young people to fall into financial turmoil. As teachers, it is important that we equip young people with the tools they need to be financially independent.

This downloadable matching pairs game is a great way to engage your learners with financial education. As well as using the game as a form of assessment, the activity provides learners with the opportunity to have meaningful conversations about money management and financial independence.

Additional Information: It is highly recommended that this resource is downloaded with our other SLEducation Financial Literacy – Financial Literacy A-Z resources.
