Classroom tested: a 2 lesson enquiry into why French people were unhappy in the build up to the French Revolution. Works best if the pupils have a bedding of knowledge of Medieval England.

Using discussion points, a creative outcome and a diagram from an older KS3 textbook - the lesson is engaging and pupils gain a great deal of knowledge and understanding of 18th century France quickly.
