This assembly discusses how positive action is more powerful than positive thinking in cultivating our own happiness. I has a few practical exercises (that are done in the students seats) as well as an activity to do when back at home to emphasize the point about positive action. It discusses our negativity bias and what this looks like and how we need to perform psychological exercises to improve wellbeing in the same way we would to physical exercises to look after our physical health. The underlying message behind the assembly is value your friends, family, and other relationships, do something positive to enhance these as a way to cultivate happiness for yourself and others.

There is a script in the comments throughout the powerpoint to support its delivery.
