Insects Fun Frames will get your students writing about different types of insects. Students can answer the questions and color in the printables as they wish. The questions are about insect types, colors, predators and prey, habitat, and so on. When your students have finished working on their printables you can display their creations on the classroom wall. There are several printables included with this packet:

A butterfly printable.

A dragonfly printable.

An ant printable.

An earthworm printable.

A honeybee printable.

Five blank printables that you can use to ask your own questions about these insects. This is useful if you are doing, say, a comprehensive study of butterflies and want to ask questions about cocoons, metamorphosis, and so on.

An “I Love Insects” coloring page for your students’ science binders, biology units, or interactive notebooks.

Each of these printables contains questions about the various insects. The questions are not difficult, though your students might have to do a little bit of research in order to answer them. You can also teach the students about the various insects on the printables prior to or during the writing activity.

All artwork is original and created by myself.
