This has two writing opportunities a non chronological report, based on a Basilisk, and a third person narrative re-telling the Chamber of Secrets basilisk fight scene.
This was for a Y6 group but can be adapted to any KS2 year group. Created for a school that writes nearly every day and have 1 hour 15 minute English lessons, as a result each lesson seems full.
