Monarch Assembly Script

As a Year 6 teacher, I found it difficult to find any resources for our Monarch class assembly so I decided to create my own! The script is based on the quiz show ‘Who Wants to be a Monarch-aire!’ as three contestants battle it out to win a cash prize. Each round relates to a British Monarch with a flashback in each round where the audience get to meet: William the Conqueror, Henry VIII and Queen Victoria. My class loved taking part in this assembly and really enjoyed learning about British Monarchs as part of our History topic.

This resource also includes a Monarch Portrait resource, where I printed photos of each child to create a back drop for our assembly.
