This is a child development team activity for students to work out how old the various children are and what toys and play activities would be suitable for each child. Each team is given a set of cards with clues on which they need to read out and listen to each other to build up a profile about each child to work out their age and stage of development The resource consists of the clue cards and a Powerpoint. All the clues are taken from Carolyn Meggitts Illustrated guide to Child Development book. I use this activity as a consolidation exercise after I have taught stages of development and also the value of play before we then move onto R020 assignment.
You just need to cut the clue cards up into individual statements
